A practical, fun training programme that allows employers to educate their people about alcohol and its effects on the body and mind. Developed by Lion, New Zealand’s largest drinks company, the programme has been running for over 10 years and is designed to help people make informed choices about how they drink, whilst also helping to satisfy your health and safety obligations regarding alcohol.
Our Workplace Programs
3-hour facilitated workshop
Delivered by an Alcohol&Me Facilitator with over 10 years workplace workshop experience, this version of Alcohol&Me comprises four interactive modules. Participants gain insights into alcohol's effects on the body and mind through quizzes, videos, demonstrations, and group activities tailored to diverse learning styles and skill levels. Ideal for organizations seeking innovative ways to bring their Alcohol Policies to life effectively, it is particularly valuable for employees operating machinery or driving company vehicles.
Who is it for?
Our face-to-face workshop accommodates up to 35 participants and includes liaison & admin support, workshop resources, and communications assistance. Attendees complete pre- and post-surveys online, with an optional 1-month pulse check survey available upon request.

90min 'drink smart' team quiz
This format of Alcohol&Me is exceedingly popular, particularly suited for internal 'Wellbeing Weeks' or similar events. Facilitated by trained experts, it features an interactive team-based quiz designed to educate participants on standard drink sizes and the physiological impacts of alcohol on the body. Think of it as a "Pub Quiz without the drinks!" This engaging session integrates pouring challenges, group activities, personal reflection, and Q&A to debunk common myths and misconceptions about alcohol, empowering individuals to make informed decisions regarding their drinking habits.
Who is it for?
Our face-to-face team quiz session accommodates up to 60 participants and includes comprehensive resources, along with a 1-month pulse check survey.

90min virtual 'drink smart' challenge
Led by a trained facilitator, it features live demonstrations, online polls, voting, and group discussions, to dispels common myths and misunderstandings surrounding alcohol, to help people make smarter drinking choices if they choose to drink.
This virtual format offers businesses a cost-effective way to gauge employee interest in future alcohol training and support. It can be customized to meet organizational needs and includes live Q&A sessions to enhance learning outcomes.
Who is it for?
Our virtual quiz session via Zoom accommodates up to 20 participants and covers similar content to the 'Drink Smart' Quiz (see above), making it ideal for smaller, geographically dispersed teams.

Self directed online
Gain one month's access to the renowned Alcohol&Me online workplace program, including weekly progress/completion reports and support for internal communication to launch the program within your organization.
Who is it for?
This self-guided version of Alcohol&Me consists of four highly interactive fun online modules (approximately 10 minutes each), allowing participants to work through them at their own speed and convenience. It is ideal for large organizations aiming to implement companywide Health, Safety, and Wellbeing initiatives, as well as geographically dispersed teams or those unable to attend workshops due to operational commitments. Additionally, it serves as a valuable refresher for individuals previously engaged in an Alcohol&Me facilitated session.
